AUSKICK

Auskick is Australia’s favourite introductory football program for children aged around 5–9, designed to build confidence, skills and friendships through fun, structured activities. As part of the Saratoga Hawks Auskick centre, kids experience hands-on footy play — they run, kick, jump, catch and laugh while learning the fundamentals of Australian Rules Football in a safe, age-appropriate environment.

Auskick takes place weekly during the footy season and focuses on play-based learning rather than competition. Children don’t need prior football experience — just a passion to give it a go and have fun! Parents and guardians are encouraged to get involved, whether helping at sessions or cheering from the sidelines. Auskickers often receive special participation packs with exclusive footy memorabilia, and in some programs can be part of club-based junior memberships with elite club access opportunities.

For many young players, Auskick at the Hawks is their first taste of community sport — a stepping stone into junior teams and lifelong friendships on and off the field.
