Well Done Sarahawks Gold!

It was a wet and wonderful day at Sara Oval today as the mighty Sara hawks Gold took on a full Bateau Bay Blues side. I was so pleased to see all of the kids get in and have a go today as they fought for the ball ran into space. It was an exciting and tough contest as the kids, slid, ran and tackled hard in every qtr.

I saw a fantastic kick from Connor onto a running Ben, Spencer taking some great marks and really thinking about which team mate was loose. Macka was attacking the ball and getting some great distance with his Kicks. JJ ran hard all day and each took a couple of spectacular marks and Liam was in the thick of things with a couple of great examples in the ruck of attacking the ball. Ryan has stepped up a notch since the start of the season and Deano, after taking one terrific mark really stepped up his tempo. Ben was really close to getting my vote again today. I’m really pleased how fast he is picking up AFL.

The coaches’ award goes to Arian. He was everywhere today. He attacked the ball, tackled hard and ran into space following up after his kicks.
