Under 11's Under-done

Today we placed 3rd placed Terrigal/Avoca. It was a 13 per side game, with Terrigal running a couple of subs. We were optimistic for a good result after the boys outstanding effort vs Killarney Vale last Sunday.However, our boys were very distracted at midweek training & unfortunately, this carried over into today's game.

We were very much off the pace by the end of the 1st qtr & despite a brief period of applying some pressure in the 2nd term, went into half time down a hefty deficit.

Terrigal were full of running throughout the remainder of the game & ran out deserved winners. The final score was Terrigal/Avoca 87 bt Saratoga Hawks 10.

Player of the week was Haven & Coach's Award went to Hunter.

We look forward towards a more focused effort at training this week & a more energised performance next Sunday.
