U9 Brown - Round 8 wrap up

Sunday was a beautiful day for footy, and thanks for Terrigal-Avoca sharing 3 players all game to even up the numbers.We started out full of running and our boys showed lots of effort against a skilful opposition. We played our best early on when our boys competed hard for every ball and tackled like champs. Our defence & midfielders worked harder today than in most games all season, and never stopped trying. It was terrific to see such effort and teamwork even when we didn’t have the run of the ball. Well done guys!

The game was played flat out and as it worn on, our boys seemed a tad tired by 3rd & 4th quarter. I think will be better next week for this solid hit out.

Player of the Week: Oliver D. Oliver is worked well today on keeping up with the running & play of the game. Well done Oliver and keep up the work rate…as the improvement will follow the more involved you are.
