U9 Brown - Round 4 Wrap Up

What a fantastic Mother’s Day playing at home for the first time this season! There was lots of fun out there on the soggy Sara turf. All the boys learning were plenty in our second game of the season.

We competed hard all day and especially tackled with determination. We won plenty of ball off the ground, and from those fierce tackles. These are impressive signs, as it takes plenty of effort to get the ball, before we can make anything else happen.

With the ball in hand, there were some terrific kicks, fantastic marks and the odd hand ball found its way into our game late in the piece. We will improve next week by playing an early kick or hand ball to one of our own…and by moving into space off the ball. The game never stops.

Congrats to Player of the Week Zane P. He played hard all day, and was rewarded with a very good goal in the last quarter! Top stuff Zane!

Maybe we’ll also practice the team song at training too….he he he. Good stuff U9 Brownies!
