Sara Hawks Under 9’s v Each Other

Wow what a day! It was a big build up last night with 'Dads at the Davo' banter proving talk is cheap...the real stuff was out there on the field with our boys playing their hearts out for Sara Hawks!

Mother Nature turned on her Wintery best and off we went! Gold & Brown alike, playing non-stop end to end footy...even then it was still bitterly cold for our brave boys.

The Gold team were impressive. They fought for the ball, and spread the ball really well. They were excellent and this brought out the best in Brown to lift and be their first to win more ball. It was such a close game, played in terrific club spirit, and worthy of the only game where our U9's came together for the only time this year!

Brown player of the week Braydon B. Braydon worked for the ball and showed a lot of commitment towards getting first time ball. Excellent involvement and well done Braydon.

Gold player of the week was Spencer Morris who made a commitment to play 4 quarters this week and delivered. Even when he played a stint for Brown. Great work Spencer!
