Sara Hawks U9 Brown - Round 1 wrap up

What a very impressive little team we have! First game of the year was full of excellent team work, lots of effort, and all the while the boys (and coach) were learning how to play to our best in a six-a-side format!We have an excellent mix of returning players, Auskickers' up in U9's, and newcomers. With each new season I am continually impressed with off season improvement on game day, and today was no exception. Braydon & Zane impressed with their kicking & tackling and involvement, Olly learnt on-the-fly and improved every quarter in his very first AFL game, Lachie kicked & ran all day and competed in every ruck, Connor showed confidence & skill first up in U9's, and Wade showed control and strength in winning possession & overall teamwork. A huge team effort boys and strong signs we have and excellent and fun season ahead in 'Brown'!

Player of the week - Connor D who scored a terrific goal, was mightily involved all day, and all in his first game in U9's!
